Flaunt It Studio is the premiere creative coworking space in Toronto's York University Heights area that serves the 2SLGBTQ+ BIPOC emerging creatives and entrepreneurs. Our inclusive hub offers premium resources for business development, focusing on supporting women and non-binary individuals from low-income communities like Jane Finch. Tailored for the residents of the Jane-Finch Community, our fully equipped Studio offers an affordable and inclusive environment for young entrepreneurs, professionals, activists, and artists to transform their aspirations into reality.

Our Spaces
Currently, the Flaunt It Studio has three different services: our coworking office, personal service/ beauty salon and our state-of-the-art videography and photography studio.
The Coworking Office is an independent and collaborative working space. It is an aesthetic & inclusive workspace to revamp your WFH experience!
Affordable coworking spaces are hard to find within York University Heights. As many of our residents need access to stable wifi, a computer or private workspaces, we're providing a space for residents to work on their professional development. By providing this fully equipped workspace, we are providing residents with a dependable space to enhance their productivity.
The Creator Lab comes fully equipped and provides our clients with a versatile space. No more hour commutes to access a studio. An inclusive space for local artists to practice & develop their crafts.
The Creator Lab is our multipurpose room and fully-equipped space that can flexibly serve the primary needs of every photographer, filmmaker, musician, visual artist, designer, and more. It is mainly a photography/videography studio but can also be used for small workshops and events.
The Beauty Salon is a private, mini personal service room for local beauticians to strengthen their techniques & build their clientele. It includes but is not limited to makeup artists, hair stylists, barbers, lash and nail technicians.
We understand that finding a space to work out in the city takes work but the Beauty Salon is here to change that. Many residents have their licenses for different beauty services. Still, they cannot take clients because of space limitations, or they may need more experience or funds to rent a spot at a full salon.
Upcoming Events.
Flaunt It Studio (led by @flauntitmovement) officially presents "#FlauntItFridays" - free community events for women and 2SLGBTQ+ folks where we will be hosting events and programming related to the arts, entrepreneurship, activism and the celebration of our identities. ♡
These events are funded by the City of Toronto's Ignite Ideation Fund and York University's TD Community Engagement Centre's Catalyst grant. Thank you to both funders for supporting our #FlauntItFridays/Studio programming.

A Creative Co-Working Model for Jane-Finch Residents
An economic empowerment and poverty reduction strategy for our community.
The Studio's purpose is to resolve the scarcity, overcrowding and financial constraints of accessing creative space within Northwest Toronto.
Due to the systemic underinvestment of the Jane-Finch Community, there have been extensive consequences like the underemployment of youth, the inability to explore interests or pursue passions and a lack of professional skills.
The Studio is an immediate solution to the mass gentrification and displacement of this underserved community amid the Finch West LRT’s development. The development increases the need for innovative, collaborative strategies to economically empower Jane-Finch’s low-income residents.
